Bidders shall possess a valid General Engineering “A” Contractor’s License, which shall be valid at the time of bid opening.
Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid security in amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount total sum bid, including additives, payable to the “County of Maui”, and in compliance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 8:30 AM on THURSDAY, AUGUST 17, 2023 via BlueJeans teleconferencing. Following the meeting, at 10:30 AM, a site visit will be conducted and interested parties shall meet at HAIKU-KAUHIKOA TANK site. Interested parties requesting to attend the meeting or site visit are required to provide notification of attendance by email to DWS.Engineering@mauicounty.gov at least THREE (3) days prior to the designated date.
