NOTICE TO BIDDERS

IDIQ VERTICAL TURBINE / SUBMERSIBLE PUMP REPLACEMENTS DWSP 2023-37

Pursuant to Chapter 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, sealed bids shall be RECEIVED ELECTRONICALLY and recorded immediately via the Public Purchase System until 2:00 PM (Hawaii Standard Time), on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.  Bids shall be submitted via the Public Purchase System, otherwise the bids shall not be opened or considered.  Bids received after the date and time stated above will also not be considered.

The project involves furnishing all labor, tools, materials and equipment as needed / necessary to         Remove, Provide and install new pumps and motors, and startup / testing, in place complete at various locations.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 8:00 AM on Thursday, July 13, 2023 via Blue Jeans teleconferencing. Interested parties requesting to attend the meeting are required to provide notification by email to Dean.Tanimoto@co.maui.hi.us at least two (2) days prior to the designated date.

Bid documents for this project are available through a web-based e-procurement system.  To view and download bid documents you will need to follow instructions described at www.co.maui.hi.us/DocumentCenter/View/ Bid documents will not be available at the Purchase Division offices.  Any questions pertaining to the process, or helping in submitting a bid, can be directed to Jared Masuda at (808) 463-3816.

Bidders shall possess a valid General Engineering “A” Contractor’s License, which shall be valid at the time of bid opening.

Bids must be accompanied by an acceptable form of bid security in amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount total sum bid, including additives, payable to the “County of Maui”, and in compliance with Section 103D-323, Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended.

Bidders are required to comply with the newest procurement code Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 103D, any rules and regulations and policy directives issued with respect to Chapter 103D, and any amendments thereof.
