Description

*PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY, NOT A REQUEST FRO QUOTE*

The 413th Contracting Support Brigade is issuing this synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support the underwater cleaning, lift, technical inspection, and repair of Army Logistics Support Vessel (LSV)-7 watercraft.

Contractor will provide underwater pressure washing or cleaning prior to the ramp being lifted out of the water. This should be conducted the same as a hull cleaning is done. This will help mitigate the need for containment and disposal. The Contractor will provide heavy lifting capability (ramp weight 66.55 U.S. tons), rigging and other components to lift the ramp onto a barge procured by the Army. Contractor will also provide dive support and lashing to the barge. The contractor will perform a technical inspection of the bow ramp and perform necessary repair/replacement of components of the bow ramp hydraulic system.
