The primary purpose of this is to procure wireless network extension systems in support of the 515 AMOW, to provide 11-person Air Mobility Teams (AMT) and Mission Partners a large area (~1 mile) wireless network capability to execute en route missions at dispersed locations in the INDOPACOM theater. Solutions include Macro and Micro Cell systems. Systems must support deployable communications for aircrew flight plans/mission updates in rural, remote, denied or degraded locations, provide high availability of unclassified expeditionary communications across the ramp/port sites, and provide scalable extension capability within the vicinity of airfields in the theater. Items need to fit in three or less deployable cases (Pelican cases) for ease of transport and airworthiness on commercial or military aircraft, in configurations for carry-on and checked luggage. Micro systems are required to include solar and battery-powered options for small unit deployment in remote locations. The vendor will configure, troubleshoot, advise, and train members of the 515 AMOW on the Macro and Micro Cell systems. All wireless extension packages to include networking equipment, will be provided by the vendor but 515 AMOW will be responsible for end-user devices (laptops, tablets, cellphones). The systems will be deemed technically acceptable if Airmen can access required systems (GDSS, ETIMS, GATES, etc.) over VPN at a distance of 1 mile in an expeditionary environment, provided a sufficient back haul connection. The systems must be able to be setup in 1 hour by two personnel with limited communications systems knowledge.
