Owners of Short-Term Rental Properties – Rental Properties Wanted



FEMA is actively seeking owners of rental units suitable for families and individuals displaced by the Maui Wildfires. The units are offered to survivors for long-term leasing for up to 24 months.



FEMA has awarded contracts to three property management companies to help facilitate communication between property owners of rental units or homes and FEMA. Through FEMA’s Direct Lease program, you can help house a family in need and receive fair and stable compensation for doing so. Properties must be located within 40 miles of Lahaina.



We will be holding an Industry Day event for this Direct Lease program on Thursday, December 21st from 9am to 3:30pm both virtual and in-person. The location for the event is:
