The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform a thorough underwater cleaning, lifting and securing to a barge, perform a technical inspection, and repair the Bow Ramp of an Army Logistics Support Vessel (LSV)-7 watercraft.
Contractor shall complete the cleaning and repair of the ramp sufficiently to ensure that the bow ramp operates within original equipment specifications; to include: smooth and safe operation of hydraulic lift mechanism during raising and lowering of the
ramp, maintaining the OEM ramp capacity and integrity of supporting infrastructure, and appropriate corrosion control to include, preparation of surfaces, priming, and painting.
Site Visit
a. A site visit is tentatively scheduled on April 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM HST. Attendees will meet at the following
location:
2000 Signer Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96818
b. Offerors are required to adhere to Military Regulations to gain access to the facility. Attendees are responsible for
gaining access. Attendees will need to provide proof of insurance and registration of vehicles and have a valid photo
ID and/or photo driver’s license. Attendees will be required to provide their own transportation.
c. Offerors interested in attending the site visit shall limit their participation to one (1) representative per company.
Attendee information to include company name, address, representative name, telephone numbers and email
addresses shall be provided to the contract specialist via email at nicholas.b.zehr.civ@army.mil no later than April
2, 2024 at 12:00 PM HST.
d. Any discussion, remarks and explanations that may be made by any Government representative during the site
visit will not change the terms and conditions of the solicitation, unless the solicitation is amended in writing.
