The 413th Contracting Support Brigade is issuing this synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support/provide Dry ice deliveries.
This synopsis serves to provide notice for this procurement prior to solicitation. This procurement is intended to result in a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with deliveries of this product. This procurement will be full and open competition.
Contractor shall provide and deliver Dry Ice to Forensic Toxicology Drug Testing Lab. Contractor shall provide Dry Ice cut in blocks 5x10x3/4 inches in Poly bags, with a maximum of 50 lbs. each week. Delivery amount will be determined and communicated by COR. Contractor shall provide a maximum of 20,800 lbs. of dry ice per Fiscal Year. Contractor shall deliver shipment to 160 Takata Road Fort Shafter Flats until August or October 2018 time frame and then start delivering to Tripler Army Medical Center, BLDG 40, and Dept. of Forensic Toxicology Drug Testing Laboratory, every Monday morning, no later than 0700 on the first working day of the week. If there will be a delay in delivery, communication must be made to the Shipping Department. This is required as an agreement from 01OCT23-30SEP28. There are no geographic or location limitations, however, the vendor must be able to complete regular deliveries on time with no diminishment of quality of supplies. This product is to be used to keep biological and testing materials below a certain temperature for storage and transportation.
