Description

The FAA is conducting this Market Survey to determine the level of interest in the subject project. Please respond with interest to Darren.odegard@faa.gov No contract of any kind will be a result of this announcement.



Project value is in excess of $1 million



Summary of Work



All quantities noted in this summary are approximate, for indication of magnitude only.



1. New cover-board and fully-adhered PVC roofing system over the existing Base Building low-slope roofing. Approximately 69,000 square feet of roof, with approximately 1900 linear feet of existing low parapets.



2. Restoration of any temporarily displaced lightning protect system elements on the roofs and parapets to their pre-roofing-work locations and conditions.



3. Replacement of the Base Building Cafeteria Canopy standing-seam metal roofing and metal gutters. (Note: the existing Cafeteria Canopy gutters are corroded through, and replacement of the metal roofing is required to replace the gutters.) Approximately 2460 square feet of metal roofing, with approximately 290 linear feet of gutters.



4. Renovation of the corroded bottom of tubular-steel columns at the Cafeteria Canopy (two columns only). This work consists of core drilling work-access holes through existing pre-cast concrete column surrounds, removing existing corrosion at the bottom of the steel columns and applying new corrosion resistant coating, grouting around the bottom of the steel columns, and patching the work-access holes.



5. Renovation of the metal gutters at the other Base Building canopies. Approximately 510 linear feet of gutters.



6. New safety walkways at metal roofing interior gutters. Approximately 130 linear feet of walkways.



7. Replacement of the ATCT (Airport Traffic Control Tower) Cab exterior wall sealant.



8. Replacement of the ATCT Catwalk access hatch, replacement of the ladder up to the hatch, and providing new hatch safety gate. Ladder height approximately 11 feet.



9. Waterproofing deck coating on the ATCT Catwalk. Approximately 440 square feet.



10. Waterproofing deck coating on the ATCT 2nd Floor. Approximately 360 square feet.
