The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, under the authority of the FAR Subpart 13.5 authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901; (modified FAR 6.302- 1), intends to issue a firm fixed price, sole source purchase order to Hawai‘i Convention Center for Temporary Rental Space Using Other than Full and Open Competition. This requirement is for the lease of the Conference room at Hawai‘i Convention Center Conference Room in support of the Maui Wildfires. The applicable NAICS Code is 531120- Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings (except Mini warehouses)

Contractor selected is capable of supplying the rental because of their proximity to the area and is able to meet the basic necessary requirements to adequately provide the services needed for the continuity of operations. Contractor selected also has explicit and intimate knowledge of the specific building for which these services are required. Notwithstanding, interested parties who believes they are capable of meeting Federal Emergency Management Agency requirements as stated herein may submit a response that shows clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses is solely within the discretion of the Government.
