NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

This is a notification that Naval Special Warfare (NSW) intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract to King Nutronics Corporation, under the statutory authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). NSW requires the purchase of replacement clean oxygen gauges. The requested units will replace units rejected from service. The required Clean Oxygen Gauges will be used with the current calibration units and handheld portable pressure calibrators which are only compatible with King Nutronics Corporation manufactured gauges. The required equipment will be acquired in accordance with the FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516. The size standard is 1000 EMP.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS.

The contractor identified is the only known source for the subject requirement. Responses to this notification will be used to determine if bonafide competition exists. Any such responses must be in writing and include technical capability information, which shall demonstrate contractor’s ability to complete effort within required time. The Government will not pay for information submitted.

All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement action, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be submitted to jefferey.a.ball.civ@socom.mil and received no later than 12 September 2023 @ 3 PM Central Time (CT). Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor.
