This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W912J6-23-R-0005, is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-08, effective 09-23-2022.This procurement is being solicited as a Small Business set-aside. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332439- Other Metal Container Manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation:

The requirement is rental of total 73 20ft Containers (average 15,000 - 25,000 lbs, not to exceed 35,000 lbs) for 7 months. Containers will have to be sea-worthy, containers will be loaded up with military equipment and ship to/from Louisiana.

Requirement is to drop off the containers to the following locations and picked up after 7 months later. The National Guard will ship to/from Louisiana.

The estimated rental period is 01 April 2023 to 31 October 2023. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified firms relative to the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 332439 – (Other Metal Container Manufacturing).

Contractor must complete all Representations and Certifications found in the provisions listed below within their profile in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov.

Review and complete attached Solicitation(1449) or submit your own Quote with your company CAGE code.

Also complete attached section 889 certification, page 2 and the last page and submit along with your Quote.

Quotes are due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, 23 February 2023. Electronic proposals must be submitted via e-mail to Jay Renguul at jay.renguul.mil@army.mil.
